There were cute party drinks and little apple turnovers to fill your tummy as you swatched and tried the products. There was even an "Archie" to snap a photo with. However, I wish there was a Betty and Veronica with him.
I picked up 3 lipsticks ($16.50 each for .10oz) from the collection: Red Ronnie, Betty Bright and Daddy's little girl. Enjoy the photos and shop maccosmetics.com
Ronnie Red is a bright-pink red with blue undertones and I love it. This is a long wearing lipstick as there was a bit of a stain left on my hand and my lips after I swatched it.

Daddy's Little girl is the cutest girly pink! However, it does have some strong blue undertones with a creamy finish and make sure your lips are exfoliated before wear with this one. There are so many pinks out there that look like this but hey, I had to pick this up.

After swatching it on my hand I was afraid to give Betty Bright a chance. It is more of a pinky coral color and I felt it may be too bright for me. However, like most bright colors on dark skin, I knew a lip liner could manipulate it into something pretty awesome and wearable. I also found that pressing my lips together with this product did give a line of demarcation so watch out for that.

Overall I do feel this was a collection that brings out the nostalgia behind the Archie Comic brand for us older ladies/guys and gives everyone a fun start to their makeup collection this spring.
